What Painting project you working on?
Just finished doing walk-thru completing exterior cedar siding cleaning, staining, painting trim using Sherwin-Williams Duration for trim. Cedar was totally black, came clean like New using Oxi-Clean laundry detergent solution leaving on 10-15 minutes, power washing off. Stained with a Super Deck Red Cedar Transparent Oil Stain. Customer very satisfied, never having done this since it was built 20+ years ago. Can imagine how black the Cedar was!

Oxi-Clean? How strange. I have never heard of using that product for cleaning cedar siding. Oxalic acid, yes, but not laundry detergent.

Yes we do Jason, and Oxi-Clean is by far the best Wood Brightener/Cleaner I've found. Just got through finishing a deck in Highlands Ranch CO. owners beside themselves how good it turned out. So was the painters, less work, and contractor spending less on product. Took pics, will load 1or2 posting here soon.
