Question Latex over alkyd (gasp)
Hi all,

I made the mistake of painting a bathroom with latex paint over alkyd. It's pretty clear the latex can be scratched off if scathed. Boy do I feel dumb. But I'm wondering if I can go ahead and leave the latex on (touching up scratches as they occur over time), or if I have to (somehow?!) remove all the latex paint, apply primer, and repaint. Is all that re-do effort really necessary? What would I be in for if I didn't? Huh

Thanks.

That is a lot work. I would suggest that you should somehow remove the latex paint, then repaint.
