RE: Estimates for exterior doors and frames
Questions you should ask yourself:

How much is my time worth?

How long will it take me to do the job?

How much in materials and sundries will it take?

What is my profit margin?

What are my overhead costs?

These are essential questions that you need to answer to find YOUR pricing. I am sure there are other things to figure out but this is a good starting point.

All Great points JExclamation

Price should be adequate for both painter keeping an interest doing them, and customer getting a quality job on each door painted. I know my pricing would be higher doing 1 door, than 140, but that's just me. This number reminds me of A Bakers Dozen lol.

I always tell my clients that buying in bulk is cheaper.

Absolutely J., cheaper to paint entire interior home, than 1 room at a time. Today, I get more requests to split up the painting whether complete interior, coming back for exterior, or different floors inside a home.

Making me aware of this first, allows me to price accordingly, still trying to work within their budget.

RE: Estimates for exterior doors and frames
Figure out these basics
1. How much material it will take for each door
2. How much actual labor it will take to do each door
3. How much for gas, sprayer maintenance , overhead , sundries etc.
