As fate would have it, potential customer who I was giving a quote today for deck stain, interior painting asked me if we could re-finish her exterior front door, which I gladly accepted giving her a price. ($450.00) not realizing the two sidelites, I told her she's getting one heck of a deal. Knowing to refinish a solid wood door, there's much work than meets the eye. All has to be striped, sanded, filled, sanded, stained, and lacquered two coats. A work in progress, but looks very nice when completed. Normally we do doors with sidelites around $600.00, but having much more work, think I can eat $150.00. lol

Just go home for lunch a few times, that'l take care of the $150... haha.
I've refinished a lot of furniture and one complete set of kitchen cabinets. The
cabinets were mostly solid oak, with very dark finish. The surprise was the end
panels, which were particle board with printed grain. On your doors with heavy
grease buildup, I would clean with denatured alcohol to cut the grease before
stripping.
